Dual Blades is a Melee weapon among the eight types in version 1.0.9. Haze (Thunder, SSR), Keres (Dragon, SSR), and Raya (Fire, SR) lock it. Haze can parry in Archdemon Mode and spend a Demon Gauge on Crimson Fang Slash. Raya spends stamina to fill her own Demon Gauge. Hunters who want Dual Blades keep them for the whole hunt, solo or in a squad of four. More weapon types are planned after this first set.
