Great Sword is a Melee weapon among the eight types in version 1.0.9. Luxheart (Thunder, SR), Pyro (Dragon, SSR), and Freya (Fire, SSR) lock it. Luxheart switches stances with Heat, and Pyro turns damage taken into a heavier swing. Hunters who want Great Sword keep it for the whole hunt, solo or in a squad of four. More weapon types are planned after this first set.
